Bottles, Triggers & Drum Taps

The right dispensing equipment does more than hold a cleaning product. It can make cleaning tasks easier to manage, improve product control and keep supplies organised. Whether you need a bottle for everyday spray-and-wipe cleaning, a replacement trigger, a colour-coded bottle for different solutions or a way to dispense products from a larger container, the right option depends on how the product will be used.

A to Z Cleaning Supplies offers a range of cleaning bottles, spray triggers, colour-coded bottles, squirt bottles, chemical-resistant triggers, drum taps and hand pumps from brands including Agar, Clean Plus, Edco and NAB. With different dispensing styles and configurations available, you can choose equipment that suits your cleaning routine rather than buying more than you need.

Spray Bottles for Everyday Cleaning

A 500 mL spray bottle is a practical choice for many everyday cleaning tasks. It provides a useful amount of product while remaining easy to carry between rooms, work areas or cleaning trolleys.

The NAB Clean 500 mL Plastic Spray Bottle – Straight and Edco Spray Bottle provide general spray-bottle options, while the collection also includes purpose-specific Agar bottles for applications such as glass cleaning, carpet spot cleaning, sanitising and antibacterial cleaning.

Keeping products in dedicated, clearly identified bottles can also make a busy cleaning routine easier to manage, particularly when several solutions are used throughout the day.

Adjustable Triggers for Flexible Dispensing

The trigger affects how a cleaning solution is dispensed, making the right sprayer important when application control matters.

The NAB Canyon Trigger Sprayer has an adjustable spray head, while the Edco Spray Triggers feature an adjustable nozzle and 257 mm stem. These options can be useful when you need a replacement trigger or want more flexibility in the way a compatible solution is dispensed.

If an existing bottle is still in good condition but its trigger has become damaged or stopped working properly, replacing the trigger may be all that is necessary.

Colour-Coded Bottles for Easier Product Identification

Using several cleaning solutions in similar-looking bottles can make identification difficult. Colour coding provides a simple visual system for keeping products separate and easier to recognise.

The Clean Plus Colour Coded 500 mL Bottles include options for applications such as spray-and-wipe cleaning, all-purpose sanitising and gel or liquid bleach. This makes them useful for maintaining a consistent bottle system where different products are used across a cleaning operation.

A clear colour and labelling system can be particularly useful in workplaces where several people share cleaning supplies.

Purpose-Specific Bottles for Different Applications

A bottle selected for a particular cleaning product or task can make product identification and day-to-day handling more straightforward.

The collection includes the Agar Counterflu 500 mL Spray Bottle, supplied as an empty labelled bottle without a trigger, along with the Agar RF-12 Sanitiser Bottle and Agar Code 3 Antibacterial Spray Bottle. There are also dedicated 500 mL Agar spray bottles for Glass Cleaner Code 5 and Carpet Spot CLN Code 10.

Keeping separate bottles for different applications can help maintain an organised cleaning setup and avoid confusion between products.

Squirt Bottles for Direct Application

A spray is not always the most suitable way to dispense a cleaning product. Some applications call for a more direct method of application.

The Agar Squirt Bottle 750 mL – Bowl Clean provides a squirt-style dispensing option with a 750 mL capacity. It can be useful where the product needs to be directed towards a particular area rather than distributed as a spray.

The choice between a spray and squirt bottle ultimately depends on the dispensing method required for the task.

Chemical-Resistant Trigger Sprayers

Chemical compatibility is an important consideration when choosing dispensing equipment. Cleaning products differ in their formulations, so a trigger suitable for one product should not automatically be assumed to be suitable for another.

The CleanPlus Chemical-Resistant Trigger Sprayers provide an option where chemical resistance is an important consideration. Before using a trigger with a cleaning chemical, check the product specifications and the chemical manufacturer's recommendations to confirm compatibility.

This simple check helps ensure that the bottle and trigger are appropriate for the product being used.

Drum Taps for Larger-Volume Dispensing

Drum taps provide a practical way to dispense liquid from suitable larger containers without repeatedly lifting and tipping them. They are particularly useful where products need to be decanted in controlled amounts into smaller containers or working bottles.

A drum tap and a hand pump serve slightly different purposes. A tap provides an outlet for controlled flow from a suitable container, while a pump actively draws and dispenses product. The better choice depends on the container setup and how the product needs to be transferred.

The collection includes dispensing options intended to support larger-volume handling, including the AGAR Drum Tap and hand pumps. Always check the individual product specifications and compatibility information before use, particularly when dispensing cleaning chemicals.

Bottles With or Without Triggers

Not every customer needs a complete bottle-and-trigger combination.

The Agar Stainless Steel Oil Spray Bottle 500 mL is supplied without a trigger, so it may suit customers who already have compatible dispensing equipment or prefer to select the trigger separately. The Agar Counterflu 500 mL Spray Bottle is also listed as an empty bottle without a trigger.

This can be useful when replacing individual components or maintaining an existing bottle system rather than purchasing a complete setup each time.

Hand Pumps for 5 L and 20 L Containers

Larger cleaning containers can be inconvenient to lift and pour when smaller working bottles need regular refilling.

The Clean Plus Hand Pumps for 5 L & 20 L Containers provide a dispensing option for compatible larger containers. A suitable pump can make transferring product into smaller bottles easier to manage and provide a more controlled method of dispensing.

For larger-volume containers, choosing between a hand pump and a drum tap comes down to the container, the product and the way you want to dispense it.

Choosing the Right Bottle, Trigger or Dispensing Accessory

A quick way to narrow down the collection is to start with the job you need the product to perform:

1. Everyday spray-and-wipe cleaning: a 500 mL spray bottle is a practical option.
2. Changing spray patterns: an adjustable trigger provides greater dispensing flexibility.
3. Identifying multiple cleaning products: colour-coded bottles provide a simple visual system.
4. Direct application: a squirt bottle is suited to applications where the product needs to be directed rather than sprayed.
5. Larger containers: a compatible drum tap or hand pump can make dispensing more manageable.
6. Damaged sprayer: a compatible replacement trigger may be all you need if the existing bottle is still suitable.
7. Specific cleaning applications: purpose-specific bottles can help keep products clearly separated and identified.

Before using any bottle, trigger, tap or pump with a cleaning chemical, check the individual product details and compatibility information.

Find the Right Dispensing Option Without Overbuying

A well-organised cleaning setup does not have to be complicated. The best choice is usually the equipment that matches the product, application and way you work.

A 500 mL spray bottle can cover many everyday cleaning needs, while an adjustable trigger provides greater dispensing flexibility. Colour-coded bottles help separate products, squirt bottles provide direct application, and drum taps or hand pumps can simplify dispensing from larger containers.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can the same bottle be used for different cleaning chemicals?
It should not be assumed that one bottle and trigger are suitable for every chemical. Check the compatibility of the bottle, trigger and intended cleaning product before changing what is stored or dispensed from it. Dedicated, clearly labelled bottles can be a practical option for frequently used chemicals.

2. What is the difference between a spray bottle and a squirt bottle?
A spray bottle disperses the product as a spray, making it suitable for applications where the solution needs to be spread across a surface. A squirt bottle provides more direct dispensing for tasks where the product needs to be directed towards a particular area.

3. What does an adjustable trigger do?
An adjustable trigger changes the way the product is dispensed, allowing the spray pattern to be adapted for different applications, depending on the specific trigger design.

4. Are colour-coded bottles useful?
Yes. Colour-coded bottles provide a quick visual way to distinguish products and can help keep several cleaning solutions organised, particularly when supplies are shared between different users.

5. Can I replace only the trigger?
If the existing bottle is still suitable, a compatible replacement trigger can be a practical alternative to replacing the complete bottle. Always check that the replacement trigger fits the bottle and is appropriate for the intended chemical.

6. What is a drum tap used for?
A drum tap provides a controlled outlet for dispensing liquid from a suitable larger container. It can be useful when products need to be transferred into smaller containers without repeatedly lifting and pouring the larger container.

7. What is the difference between a drum tap and a hand pump?
A drum tap allows liquid to flow through an outlet, while a hand pump actively dispenses the product from the container. The appropriate option depends on the container and the way the product needs to be transferred.

8. What are the Clean Plus hand pumps used for?
The collection lists Clean Plus Hand Pumps for 5 L and 20 L containers. They provide a dispensing option for compatible larger containers and can be useful when transferring product into smaller working bottles.

9. What should I check before buying a cleaning bottle or trigger?
Consider the bottle size, intended application, dispensing style, trigger type and chemical compatibility. Also check whether you need a complete bottle or simply a replacement component.
